I recently had the privilege of testing a quilt pattern for Susan of <a href="http://www.crafterhoursblog.com/" target="_blank">Crafterhours</a> fame. Lots of fun!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-xSjaTRjK9tk/VQEZBTTAlCI/AAAAAAAATiU/ift4pAmfwCI/s1600/jan%2Bfeb%2B2015%2B109.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-xSjaTRjK9tk/VQEZBTTAlCI/AAAAAAAATiU/ift4pAmfwCI/s1600/jan%2Bfeb%2B2015%2B109.jpg" height="640" width="636" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I made mine a twin size quilt for my oldest, Ben (14). He picked out the fabrics, all from <a href="http://www.windhamfabrics.net/" target="_blank">Windham Fabrics</a> (thank you!!) The rainbow, binding and backing fabrics are from the Broken Stripes line and the gray is a cross-weave. The print fabrics were great to work with but the cross-weave is amazing. A totally different look than printed quilting cotton. I can't wait to get my hands on some more!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-43KZ2v83Sao/VQEYunT8GoI/AAAAAAAAThE/lLP_iKcB_sw/s1600/jan%2Bfeb%2B2015%2B092.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-43KZ2v83Sao/VQEYunT8GoI/AAAAAAAAThE/lLP_iKcB_sw/s1600/jan%2Bfeb%2B2015%2B092.jpg" height="640" width="638" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
The pattern turned out great. I worked with a great team of ladies who all tested the pattern, gave feedback and in turn Susan changed and tweaked the pattern so it's worth it. <a href="http://crafterhours.bigcartel.com/product/giant-rainbow-quilt" target="_blank"> Buy it here.</a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-0cdjBOiSky8/VQEYrcTE77I/AAAAAAAATg8/9Kxk1fhwv-M/s1600/jan%2Bfeb%2B2015%2B090.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-0cdjBOiSky8/VQEYrcTE77I/AAAAAAAATg8/9Kxk1fhwv-M/s1600/jan%2Bfeb%2B2015%2B090.jpg" height="640" width="546" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I had fun taking these photos at the Blue Heron Reserve with my kids. Though the older two were rather embarrassed by the whole thing. So they are getting tall enough to hold my quilts but not they don't want to. Hmm... must find tall friends I think.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_F71VhTa_FY/VQEYpuAFcEI/AAAAAAAATg0/tkTj_34TrvE/s1600/jan%2Bfeb%2B2015%2B085.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_F71VhTa_FY/VQEYpuAFcEI/AAAAAAAATg0/tkTj_34TrvE/s1600/jan%2Bfeb%2B2015%2B085.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
This photo shows the crazy back. It really was a crazy fabric pick by Ben but I think it turned out rather well in the end. If you want to see what the other testers came up with<a href="http://www.crafterhoursblog.com/2015/02/rainbows-giant-rainbow-quilt-testers.html" target="_blank"> look over here.</a><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WbUOFM06Bok/VQEZJeEPXmI/AAAAAAAATis/9XtzMbrtQA0/s1600/jan%2Bfeb%2B2015%2B116.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WbUOFM06Bok/VQEZJeEPXmI/AAAAAAAATis/9XtzMbrtQA0/s1600/jan%2Bfeb%2B2015%2B116.jpg" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
And if you are ever visiting Chilliwack, BC, the <a href="http://chilliwackblueheron.com/" target="_blank">Great Blue Heron Reserve </a>is a wonderful place to spend some time in God's creation.</div>

Tap, tap, anyone out there? Anyone still read little blogs like this one?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'm popping in to show you a recent finish. Not that I haven't finished other things but I actually went to a park to take photos of this one.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kQOcvA0E4Js/VQDfwzHUanI/AAAAAAAATTE/_Nffnr478co/s1600/March%2B2015%2B011.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kQOcvA0E4Js/VQDfwzHUanI/AAAAAAAATTE/_Nffnr478co/s1600/March%2B2015%2B011.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
This quilt started out with some 6.5 inch charms from a swap at last years' Quilt Retreat. The girls and I went through the stash during Christmas break and found some other fabrics that would work well and then we started cutting and piecing. Melisssa did the initial approximate cutting. Then she and Deanna drew lines diagonally across then and paired them up with the grays.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-lbLSlh7R3fY/VQDf0d7IgqI/AAAAAAAATTM/ZqbDK5BTmYM/s1600/March%2B2015%2B012.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-lbLSlh7R3fY/VQDf0d7IgqI/AAAAAAAATTM/ZqbDK5BTmYM/s1600/March%2B2015%2B012.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Carolin, only 7 years old, did most of the sewing, a quarter inch on each side of the line. She loved helping out and with my 1/4 inch foot on the machine it went very well. When that was all finished, the older girls cut them in half and pressed them open. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wVx9NbyUEnI/VQDgBbo2g6I/AAAAAAAATTs/pz2HIg-ms7Q/s1600/March%2B2015%2B016.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wVx9NbyUEnI/VQDgBbo2g6I/AAAAAAAATTs/pz2HIg-ms7Q/s1600/March%2B2015%2B016.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then I trimmed every single unit down to 5 1/4 inches and started arranging. I needed to make a few more at that point. Then I finished it all up, quilted it and bound it. A fun project by my girls and I. I love, love the backing and how it matches the front perfectly. That was completely on purpose by the way. This quilt is for my great-niece. (That makes me sound so old but it's the way it is. She was born the same year as Joshua.)</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KTrryjY8Ln0/VQDgjch4PQI/AAAAAAAATVE/r_vpVgyq2Tg/s1600/March%2B2015%2B028.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KTrryjY8Ln0/VQDgjch4PQI/AAAAAAAATVE/r_vpVgyq2Tg/s1600/March%2B2015%2B028.jpg" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
We took the photos by Sardis Pond. As you can see, everything is greening up nicely here. A very early start to Spring. Today was the first cloudy/rainy day we've had in weeks. Very unusual weather for our area.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-h7EAEsvv7bs/VQDgZJgel7I/AAAAAAAATUs/SXlXL5GRb5I/s1600/March%2B2015%2B025.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-h7EAEsvv7bs/VQDgZJgel7I/AAAAAAAATUs/SXlXL5GRb5I/s1600/March%2B2015%2B025.jpg" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And of course, the kids. This guy has kept me busy. Not his fault of course, just the way things are. His cuteness makes up for it!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cmZSUe5P6JU/VQDf6VL_pqI/AAAAAAAATTc/R7IFk3e5BPU/s1600/March%2B2015%2B014.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cmZSUe5P6JU/VQDf6VL_pqI/AAAAAAAATTc/R7IFk3e5BPU/s1600/March%2B2015%2B014.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Zachary loves to push Joshua around anywhere and anytime. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope to be back soon to show you another quilt I completed this year. Till then, take care!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

I didn't get the greatest pics of this one, but I thought I should blog about it seeing it was on my <a href="http://makingmorewithless.blogspot.ca/2014/10/fal-q4.html" target="_blank">FAL Quarter 4 list</a>. Of the 5 things I listed I finished 4. I'm happy with that! I'll put the unfinished on back on the list for 2015, Quarter 1.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uVuijaj7EQ4/VINWTETgsEI/AAAAAAAASr4/P9E140PgJcc/s1600/november%2B2014%2B003.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uVuijaj7EQ4/VINWTETgsEI/AAAAAAAASr4/P9E140PgJcc/s1600/november%2B2014%2B003.jpg" height="640" width="638" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started this one last December in hopes to have it finished by last Christmas but when it didn't happen it languished in a basket until this year. I almost didn't finish it but then I needed a gift so I quilted and bound it all within 2 hours. Glad it's finished and glad the recipient likes it.</div>
<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Fabric is a layer cake of Winter's Lane by Kate and Birdie, backing is a thrifted sheet. Pattern is free from the Fat Quarter Shop. <a href="http://www.pinterest.com/pin/246079567115305121/" target="_blank"> I've pinned it here.</a></div>

It's no secret that I love scraps. With my scrap bin overflowing again I dove in and started another quilt. Why not right?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-eP07YrgLnuI/VH4Z4uXYLSI/AAAAAAAASrg/cXZGN8bDWLM/s1600/hst%2Bmadness%2B006.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-eP07YrgLnuI/VH4Z4uXYLSI/AAAAAAAASrg/cXZGN8bDWLM/s1600/hst%2Bmadness%2B006.jpg" height="408" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
This quilt was not a quick quilt to piece but it was so much fun. So repetitive, easy and colourful. First the dive into the scrap bin, then the pressing, the stitching, and then trimming each HST unit down to the correct size. I really like trimming my HST's down after stitching, They are much more precise to piece together after that.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-bXwF6eNwbk8/VH4Z6_rzzDI/AAAAAAAASq4/_sGprEfh8Gw/s1600/hst%2Bmadness%2B007.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-bXwF6eNwbk8/VH4Z6_rzzDI/AAAAAAAASq4/_sGprEfh8Gw/s1600/hst%2Bmadness%2B007.jpg" height="640" width="638" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
All sorts of colours, mostly bright of course, put together (mostly) at random. I tried not to put like colours next to each other, but sometimes it happened.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TdRfoDUKqfw/VH4Z9F9fWvI/AAAAAAAASrA/j55kaa30Bms/s1600/hst%2Bmadness%2B008.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TdRfoDUKqfw/VH4Z9F9fWvI/AAAAAAAASrA/j55kaa30Bms/s1600/hst%2Bmadness%2B008.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
The backing is a nice warm yellow found at <a href="http://www.stayhomefabrics.ca/" target="_blank">Stay Home Fabrics</a>, a small Canadian based, online shop.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Fu2tsc-YWpY/VH4Z_exyZdI/AAAAAAAASrI/LgudEY3b-oo/s1600/hst%2Bmadness%2B009.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Fu2tsc-YWpY/VH4Z_exyZdI/AAAAAAAASrI/LgudEY3b-oo/s1600/hst%2Bmadness%2B009.jpg" height="640" width="638" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I love everything about this quilt. And, I've decided to list it in <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/213739570/colorful-scrap-quilt?ref=shop_home_feat_1" target="_blank">my shop.</a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I made this quilt bit by bit with a newborn in the house. Being a bit more house bound than normal I decided to dig into my (larger) scraps and make a quilt to hang on my family room wall. It was fun and I love staring at it on my wall.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Finally finished this quilt. It's a group effort by the attendees of our annual quilt retreat (mostly ladies from our church here in the valley) and made with a<a href="http://www.pinterest.com/pin/246079567113446151/" target="_blank"> block pattern </a>by <a href="http://ellisonlane.com/" target="_blank">Ellison Lane</a>.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
The ladies were instructed to use a white or light background and then girly colours/prints for the cross. I think it came together pretty good!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
The background fabric was given to me by another lady who makes a lot of donation quilts for the hospital. It was nice that I didn't have to purchase any.</div>

The photo shoot was super fun with my three fabulous helpers (you can see another quilt I was taking pics of on the post.) They really get into it and come up with all kinds of ridiculous ways to photograph a quilt. Lots of fun!</div>

Three years ago I had the big idea to hand quilt this little table runner (or topper). I would outline the different motifs and it would look really good. So I picked out some matching embroidery floss and away I went.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-32wnjItgzms/VESJ6bSXPhI/AAAAAAAASXE/t-0vqCmnVyY/s1600/October%2B012.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-32wnjItgzms/VESJ6bSXPhI/AAAAAAAASXE/t-0vqCmnVyY/s1600/October%2B012.jpg" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Except I hated it. First of all I had a cotton/linen blend fabric on the back which is much too thick and stiff for hand quilting. And then I started another hand work project (my EPP stars) so this got shoved in a basket and forgotten about. I listed it on my Finish Along post becuase it was time to get. it. done.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fk0jrz3vkrE/VESJ9zS2vNI/AAAAAAAASXU/GoJ_KA7uBIY/s1600/October%2B015.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fk0jrz3vkrE/VESJ9zS2vNI/AAAAAAAASXU/GoJ_KA7uBIY/s1600/October%2B015.jpg" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I gave up on the hand quilting and just quilted in the ditch, slapped a binding on it and promptly gave it away. I didn't take out the hand quilting though so there are random parts with hand quilting. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gXRjQiXKx4M/VESJ_6sbV4I/AAAAAAAASXc/VjM9uRvIPJc/s1600/October%2B016.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gXRjQiXKx4M/VESJ_6sbV4I/AAAAAAAASXc/VjM9uRvIPJc/s1600/October%2B016.jpg" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm glad it's finished and I'm glad someone liked it enough to want it (thanks Karen). One day, I will hand quilt another (small) project to completion. But not while I have a baby to hold and take care of. :-)</div>

I do sew things for my other children but by far the most for Carolin at this stage in life. Firstly, she likes what I make her. And secondly she is tall and slim so RTW doesn't always work for her.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_o-2kqqyKwU/VESKFE36FRI/AAAAAAAASX8/KaZSoZOuR50/s1600/October%2B021.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_o-2kqqyKwU/VESKFE36FRI/AAAAAAAASX8/KaZSoZOuR50/s1600/October%2B021.jpg" height="638" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I intended to sew along with the lovely ladies at Modkid a few weeks ago but as is usual when I make plans they didn't work out. We happened to move my sewing room that very same week so I only got around to cutting it out.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ytpwIrf7dyI/VESKGDHqeWI/AAAAAAAASYE/LXuPjuINvHk/s1600/October%2B024.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ytpwIrf7dyI/VESKGDHqeWI/AAAAAAAASYE/LXuPjuINvHk/s1600/October%2B024.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I made a size 7 but lengthened everything to a size 9. And it fits her perfectly! I couldn't be happier with it.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-oFI9CqUMCaA/VESKNAnmZhI/AAAAAAAASYc/bNcAmh6Afvk/s1600/October%2B027.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-oFI9CqUMCaA/VESKNAnmZhI/AAAAAAAASYc/bNcAmh6Afvk/s1600/October%2B027.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Bias binding around the collar. It was supposed to be piping but for various reasons that didn't work. This was my third try and I am happy (enough) with it. I believe the buttons are from the <a href="http://www.theribbonretreat.com/" target="_blank">Ribbon Retreat</a>. They were in our swag bags at last years quilting retreat.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bAUg8u8iYNM/VESKY_aM-0I/AAAAAAAASZM/zh_SvRPr4e0/s1600/October%2B034.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bAUg8u8iYNM/VESKY_aM-0I/AAAAAAAASZM/zh_SvRPr4e0/s1600/October%2B034.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am happy with the pattern and how it looks (and twirls) on Carolin. It comes with sleeve options so good for all seasons. I bought it from <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/163587537/avery-drop-waist-dress-pdf-downloadable?ref=sc_1&plkey=7796afce89971e68bbdaaf3817bc048cfcfca6d8%3A163587537&ga_search_query=avery+pattern&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery" target="_blank">Modkid on Etsy</a>.</div>
<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Fabric is a Cotton/Linen blend. Nice and heavy for winter. The bodice is lined so she'll keep nice and warm.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-gPUkVPHhG9s/VESK4oiFD4I/AAAAAAAASak/V_8hEiDcS_k/s1600/October%2B046.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-gPUkVPHhG9s/VESK4oiFD4I/AAAAAAAASak/V_8hEiDcS_k/s1600/October%2B046.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
We tested it out at church and on the playground and we give it two thumbs up. This drop waist style looks great on Carolin and I can see my self making more.</div>

Quickest Blog Post Ever</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I really wanted to join in the Finish Along for quarter 4 and today is the last day to link up. So while the turkey is resting, the potatoes are in the oven and our company not quite here I'll attempt to post. Excuse the terrible photos, they were super quick snaps.</div>
<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
#2 - Layer Cake Christmas Quilt - This was supposed to be done by last Christmas but when it wasn't I just put it aside. Would love to have this finished by Dec 1.</div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-K_61PqAHpxw/VDyknTHoVlI/AAAAAAAASWU/gjm1Zab6HyM/s1600/October%2B009.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-K_61PqAHpxw/VDyknTHoVlI/AAAAAAAASWU/gjm1Zab6HyM/s1600/October%2B009.jpg" height="638" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
#2 - This is a table runner in progress. I started hand quilting it but I'm not enjoying it so I'll just do some machine quilting to finish it, bind it and put it on a table. </div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qmQODAXfld4/VDyko9vGTAI/AAAAAAAASWc/SUfMFdkc5aw/s1600/October%2B010.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qmQODAXfld4/VDyko9vGTAI/AAAAAAAASWc/SUfMFdkc5aw/s1600/October%2B010.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
#4 - This is a recent WIP - an Avery Dress (pattern by Modkidboutique), almost finished, should be finished for next Sunday.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiv3k6r1OGmV0Y5G_0PgXSizydekjd8HY_6PFk8KkKC-aTDcz9O90HrCUZgnfvTV5iRRE2wGINKTFroX7XFuCv9wlwLAjB_tsbtZBIr_kajQz5FjVfI2aLcKvQVXu2z8B3lNdR8CEQIcY8/s1600/Jan+2012+019.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiv3k6r1OGmV0Y5G_0PgXSizydekjd8HY_6PFk8KkKC-aTDcz9O90HrCUZgnfvTV5iRRE2wGINKTFroX7XFuCv9wlwLAjB_tsbtZBIr_kajQz5FjVfI2aLcKvQVXu2z8B3lNdR8CEQIcY8/s1600/Jan+2012+019.jpg" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
#5 - And finally this handkerchief quilt. It's been sitting around for about 6 or 7 years and needs to be finished. I don't think I'll get overly fancy with it, just basic quilting, bind it and then use it!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here's to getting things done!<br />

One can hope. :-)<br />
<br />
Firstly, I had a really good summer! I went in to it thinking it was not going to be that great with a teenager, a baby and everything in between. But it went very, very well. I think there are a couple of reasons for that. Firstly, my kids help. They have chores and know that we don't do fun things if the work isn't done. Secondly we had a fairly busy summer with many exciting things. Thirdly my teenager worked for a few weeks with his dad. That was a very good thing for him and for me. :-) <br />

<br />
We went on a road trip this summer. From our home in the Fraser Valley to the William Switzer Park in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains (Alberta) to Edmonton to Calgary and then to Shuswap Lake, BC on the way home. We were gone for 18 days which is a new record for us. It had it's moments of "what were thinking??" but mostly was a great time and we are so happy we went. Joshua was a trooper. He was happy to nurse or drink a bottle which was very handy. On the road he took a bottle and midnight (and 2 AM and 4 AM) feedings I nursed him. We camped for a week with Suzanne and family and it was so much fun for all of us. Yeah for cousins!<br />

Other than my EPP I didn't do too much in the way of sewing over the summer. Melissa made a zipper pouch for a friends' birthday. She did very well!</div>

I made a small table runner with the waste triangles from <a href="http://makingmorewithless.blogspot.ca/2014/06/may-stars.html" target="_blank">this quilt</a> and some scraps. So fun to make something from nothing! Or "more with less". </div>

Just before the kids headed back to school I made the girls each a drawstring bag for their PE clothes. It works quite well actually. I wash their PE clothes on the weekend and immediately stick it into the drawstring bag and then into their back pack. No forgotten PE clothes. Except Ben who shuddered at the thought of a home made bag. </div>

You don't mind if I post another pic of Joshua do you? We're having so much fun with him! He's crawling, babbling, snotty, smiling, laughing, and hair pulling. Some days it is just the two of us hanging out together and six weeks into the school year we are still trying to get the hang of it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Zachary started school. I've really enjoyed having him around. The last year he's become much easier and fun to have around. He loves to work and feels highly valued when he helps me (and he really is helpful!) Thankfully he only goes every other day so we can still spend some time together.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
One last project to share. Again a table runner I made for a special friend. I used a tutorial for a 4-patch disappearing block called <a href="http://www.pinterest.com/pin/246079567114622805/" target="_blank">Criss Cross</a>. I'm happy to report that she loves it! :-)</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And that's it for now! Hopefully I'll be back to regular blogging. Soon with post of projects I'd like to complete by the end of the year. Enjoy your day!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Well, hello!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I haven't been on the blog much as of late. All is well here after a busy summer. The kids are in their fourth week back to school and I am starting to get used to the routine again. I have been working away in my sewing room getting some bias binding (or bias tape) ready for <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/BusyQuiltMom" target="_blank">my shop</a>. Today my iron gave up so I got out my camera instead.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ZX3BYkrhSeQ/VCJHVGeIvcI/AAAAAAAARFE/g_78vlsEOaY/s1600/BusyQuiltMom%2Bon%2BEtsy%2B-%2BGoogle%2BChrome%2B23092014%2B92456%2BPM.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ZX3BYkrhSeQ/VCJHVGeIvcI/AAAAAAAARFE/g_78vlsEOaY/s1600/BusyQuiltMom%2Bon%2BEtsy%2B-%2BGoogle%2BChrome%2B23092014%2B92456%2BPM.jpg" height="564" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am so excited to have my shop filled with these colourful bindings and am looking forward to shipping them out. Here's a link to the <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/BusyQuiltMom" target="_blank">BusyQuiltMom shop</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope to be back soon with a little bit of a personal and sewing update.</div>

Happy Birthday, Alisa!Today we get to celebrate Alisa's birthday (which she shares with my husband)! Happy birthday, Alisa! May God graciously grant you what you need to love and serve Him and those around you in the coming year. Love you tons!<br />

We had such a wonderful summer, it's hard to believe it's over already! A fabulous week camping with Gord and Alisa and family in July and then a week staying at there place in August when we went to celebrate my parents 40th Anniversary. Lots of love and laughter and bonding.<br />

<br />
And, now on to the next season. Sophie is going to Kindergarten this year so I will have some days with only Sebastian at home. I'm looking forward to spending more time in my sewing room (after I get my house back in order from the summer chaos).<br />

I had really good intentions of getting these done well before summer and even started cutting them out during the Spring Kids Clothes Week, I finished the last one just before swimming lessons started.<br />

I've made this pattern for Anneke a couple time already but it doesn't seem to be getting any easier! The end result is very satisfying though. I was tempted to just get rid of the fabrics I have left but now that they are done I'm not so sure :)<br />

I didn't get a photo every day but I did on 18 of the days. I could have had more but I didn't bother taking photos of the ones I had done already. As you can see in the collage, Carolin wears the most mom-made clothes right now.<br />

Not too many words with this one. I actually finished this one a couple of weeks ago. I used the Oliver + S Croquet Dress pattern. I have <a href="http://makingmorewithless.blogspot.ca/2012/05/pattern-review-croquet-dress-by-oliver.html" target="_blank">made it once in the past</a> and decided to make a few changes.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-F5Jgi7b2pms/U6dhBqroKYI/AAAAAAAAPnc/rx_qVllSqJw/s1600/May+010.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-F5Jgi7b2pms/U6dhBqroKYI/AAAAAAAAPnc/rx_qVllSqJw/s1600/May+010.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I added more width to the skirt portion so it would be more gathered and have a bit more flow.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

After making this pattern for Carolin I kept thinking of ways to make it for my other daughters. They are getting older and more picky but I really want to be able to sew some things for them yet. I took them with me to the fabric store and we picked out fabrics for their own versions of the Garden Party dress.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XMykGCJBuaw/U6dYdpses2I/AAAAAAAAPlQ/_rVmutQ9-zE/s1600/June+003.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XMykGCJBuaw/U6dYdpses2I/AAAAAAAAPlQ/_rVmutQ9-zE/s1600/June+003.jpg" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Last week I finished Melissa's version. She chose a black with white spots polyester fabric (very slippery fabric) and I paired it with a black cotton voile to line it with.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8NK4UZFqX0w/U6dYgrMOMHI/AAAAAAAAPlY/kaqKBL_AIsY/s1600/June+004.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8NK4UZFqX0w/U6dYgrMOMHI/AAAAAAAAPlY/kaqKBL_AIsY/s1600/June+004.jpg" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I made quite a few changes to the pattern to make this work as the pattern doesn't include lining and the construction of the dress doesn't really lend itself well to lining either. First I separated the front bodice and skirt and added seam allowance to each piece. For the top of the dress I cut out both fabrics and then basted each piece together and then treated them as one fabric. For example I cut out four sleeves, two in the spotted fabric and two in the black voile. I basted each spotted sleeve piece to a voile sleeve piece and then after that treated them as one single fabric. It worked out very well over all. Then for the skirt I sewed the outer layer and the inside voile separately then gathered them together and stitched them to the finished bodice. The original pattern has you sew the skirt pieces onto the bodice first and the stitch up the side seams which would not have worked with a lining. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
One other change I made was to run elastic through the waistband. Melissa is quite picky about loose fitting dresses. I'm pretty sure she thinks it looks to childish. I also put a hook and eye closure in rather than a button and loop.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway, she is happy with the dress and so am I. I do wish I had made it a tad larger, but this will do for this summer anyway.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-m4eOfRgRz30/U6dYlKBi5NI/AAAAAAAAPmI/hBSdRIiR_QM/s1600/June+006.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-m4eOfRgRz30/U6dYlKBi5NI/AAAAAAAAPmI/hBSdRIiR_QM/s1600/June+006.jpg" height="320" width="292" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I hope to make another Garden Party Dress for Deanna. I have plans for different alterations to make it look different again. Then I'll take a photo of all three girls in their very different dresses.</div>
<br />Alisahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12177250483417082402noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5854500778673546024.post-2757073791609390532014-06-23T05:00:00.000-07:002014-06-23T05:00:01.749-07:00May Stars<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I worked on this quilt through out the month of May (hoping to finish it that month too) thus the name May Stars. I made it to hang on one of my very bare family room walls. I picked out some of my favourite prints out of my fat quarter stash as well as my scrap bin. It was pure joy to work on, picking out pairs of prints as I went along.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BVy7phMXIDU/U6dYpV8TuxI/AAAAAAAAPl4/DMBrKKjves0/s1600/June+008.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BVy7phMXIDU/U6dYpV8TuxI/AAAAAAAAPl4/DMBrKKjves0/s1600/June+008.jpg" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
The project kind of stalled when it got the quilting stage and to be honest I'm not overly happy with the quilting (my machine was acting up too). But now that it's bound I find myself liking it again and am ready to hang it on the wall.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lCZ91notM60/U6dYr4DH87I/AAAAAAAAPmQ/2JI5JKusN6s/s1600/June+009.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lCZ91notM60/U6dYr4DH87I/AAAAAAAAPmQ/2JI5JKusN6s/s1600/June+009.jpg" height="444" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
The colours are bright and cheery and definitely 'me'.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Enjoy your week! My kids have 1.5 days of school left and then it's summer break.</div>

The <a href="https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/sewgraciousthreads">Seashore Dress, Top & Tunic.</a> From the listing:<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
"<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Guardian-EgypTT-Text, Georgia, serif; line-height: 25px;">The Seashore Dress, Top and Tunic features a lace covered yoke, cap sleeves, and shoulder buttons for easy dressing. Its size range includes 2T-8.</span><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Guardian-EgypTT-Text, Georgia, serif; line-height: 25px;"> "</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I sewed up the tunic length in size 8 without the gathers. I used this pretty cotton lawn I had from Connecting Threads, some blue broadcloth and my very last piece of lace from the <a href="http://makingmorewithless.blogspot.ca/2013/06/3-dresses-done.html">girls dresses last year</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBA5NqF_cyob_JRn9sOrivaNAB4aaT0qx_Cgtl8hwyQgaXE7HT8bYD-hSGgCsFzfKDojZA3Ps36TSndapVVVlw6tD_ZDoKqX4uUenec3xnA1cZ3UHtP0Kyr1ij_LJb9em4gmukLF0Ksy-h/s1600/IMG_6281.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBA5NqF_cyob_JRn9sOrivaNAB4aaT0qx_Cgtl8hwyQgaXE7HT8bYD-hSGgCsFzfKDojZA3Ps36TSndapVVVlw6tD_ZDoKqX4uUenec3xnA1cZ3UHtP0Kyr1ij_LJb9em4gmukLF0Ksy-h/s1600/IMG_6281.JPG" height="640" width="426" /></a></div>
The pattern was very clear with lots of pictures. It printed out accurately and was easy to put together. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDm72PIDXAvN4yq8K0kBj25K_wtmcqPATMBpKiY8t8WYrLpBgnXTQB0S9qVgKDW5HDZWbkvs32ujLeuDVJW1-wvWrsQ4vR573LpjBg52sNuAX_EeLv1NygZhRNwmakbhqE0L8FBr3GdMDn/s1600/IMG_6284.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDm72PIDXAvN4yq8K0kBj25K_wtmcqPATMBpKiY8t8WYrLpBgnXTQB0S9qVgKDW5HDZWbkvs32ujLeuDVJW1-wvWrsQ4vR573LpjBg52sNuAX_EeLv1NygZhRNwmakbhqE0L8FBr3GdMDn/s1600/IMG_6284.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
I found the neck a bit small in the size 8 that I made but she has since adjusted the pattern.<br />

... life has been full. Being a wife and mom are currently taking up most of my time. And that is probably how it should be. It's a juggling act that rivals any clowns' and it works, most of the time.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I put together this mosaic of photos taken a couple of weekends ago (Victoria Day). To me it reminds me of a good day with our family. It didn't start out so good. The three oldest kids didn't want to go. "It'll be boring. Who wants to hike anyway? I don't feel like it." But we forged ahead with our plans, and you know what? They (and we) had a really good day hiking to Bridal Falls, doing some geocaching and visiting the Cheam Lake Wetlands (if you are in Chilliwack, this is really a hidden beauty. There are never more than a few cars in the parking lot but it is such a peaceful sanctuary for birds, frogs, ducks and geese and we even saw a mouse this time.)</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And this little guy. What can I say? He's turned our lives inside and out. In a (mostly) good way. He's 4 months already and rolling over, trying to move. He doesn't sleep nearly enough but he makes up for it in the way he responds to everyone. Big, dimply smiles! Love him.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I had really wanted to make this bag before going to BC last month. I had to give up because there was no way I could get it done in the little amount of time I gave myself. But I finished it shortly after we got back and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I wanted something I could use for church and everyday use so I used a grey home dec fabric for the outside. It has a bit of a shimmer to it in real life. The one thing I think I may still try to do is add a zipper. I used only one snap instead of the two the pattern called for but I don't like how it sits and the risk of losing everything out of my purse is quite high :-p</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXpmowGw5oVvPZ0h4fNTnoreYhp6-HktEyuW8yn31UulZeRpgd7yy2drsY5O_pzBkUyaBz900AJZV4sNgkn3YbTzZ5w0PIN1EMGbda0StpQz7x1MyzKEtNgDZR7IgZYo4Ty5Yt7qx85gr4/s1600/IMG_6219.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXpmowGw5oVvPZ0h4fNTnoreYhp6-HktEyuW8yn31UulZeRpgd7yy2drsY5O_pzBkUyaBz900AJZV4sNgkn3YbTzZ5w0PIN1EMGbda0StpQz7x1MyzKEtNgDZR7IgZYo4Ty5Yt7qx85gr4/s1600/IMG_6219.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
I think if I sew a zipper to two strips of the grey, folding all raw edges to the inside, I should be able to sew it right on the topstitching line. We'll see if it works and if I even go back to fix it!<br />

I added a zipper pocket to the inside. Baby Girl Spring Applique Quilt<br />
finished size: 36" x 48"<br />
This was my ever custom quilt and a little nerve wracking as I had never done this much applique before. The lady who ordered it sent me a link to <a href="http://www.womansday.com/home/craft-ideas/diy-decor-miniature-applique-quilt-106425">this miniature quilt</a> and I used the flower templates from there only enlarged about 200%.<br />

It was hard to part with this quilt once it was done but it was well received and I got to make a quilt that I otherwise probably never would have.<br />

I know how I'll be spending my coffee time in the next couple of weeks! How about you?Suzannehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04248225708958076103noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5854500778673546024.post-89943778985474453792014-05-19T07:12:00.000-07:002014-05-19T07:12:29.826-07:00Julia Cardigan in mustard!For my birthday back in March a couple friends gave me some money to go towards an Ottobre subscription. After much thought I asked if it was ok to pick up a couple patterns I knew I would use instead. I have this feeling that having a subscription right now might put too much pressure to sew from them.<br />
<br />
Anyway, the <a href="http://www.welcometothemousehouse.com/2013/12/the-julia-womens-cardigan-its-here.html">Julia Cardigan</a> was something I had my eye on for a while so I bought it! I was shopping at Fabricland with <a href="http://www.craftyhour.com/">Laura</a> and she found this mustard coloured knit - a colour I wouldn't have picked out initially but I love how it turned out. I probably would've picked something "safe" but I'm glad I didn't.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgp2UuKuJKMgfJeJ3_rCmPjNzQiyDVtjXSCJREJG0KBCE6zLK20nTWZm-hvAp69lX9PLKhMr-WI0BFbM4uhuJnFRmst3P87EtDljdAv3nTMHxGlmCCa4SiwkGI9NI2jfsZcJImFOrEwDipg/s1600/IMG_6225.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgp2UuKuJKMgfJeJ3_rCmPjNzQiyDVtjXSCJREJG0KBCE6zLK20nTWZm-hvAp69lX9PLKhMr-WI0BFbM4uhuJnFRmst3P87EtDljdAv3nTMHxGlmCCa4SiwkGI9NI2jfsZcJImFOrEwDipg/s1600/IMG_6225.JPG" height="640" width="574" /></a></div>
I sewed up the long sleeve version with the double collar in a small. I should've gone with my measurements and made a Medium but b/c it wasn't fitted on the waist and hips and I have small shoulders I thought a small would be better. But as you can see the back is too small across the shoulders. It's still very wearable though!<br />
