Seashore Dress, Top & Tunic Review and Giveaway!

Last week I had the pleasure of testing a new pattern for Jessica of Gracious Threads.  The Seashore Dress, Top & Tunic.  From the listing:
"The Seashore Dress, Top and Tunic features a lace covered yoke, cap sleeves, and shoulder buttons for easy dressing. Its size range includes 2T-8. "
I sewed up the tunic length in size 8 without the gathers.  I used this pretty cotton lawn I had from Connecting Threads, some blue broadcloth and my very last piece of lace from the girls dresses last year.
The pattern was very clear with lots of pictures.  It printed out accurately and was easy to put together.
I found the neck a bit small in the size 8 that I made but she has since adjusted the pattern.
These girlies are growing up way too fast!!
You can find this and Jessica's other Gracious Threads patterns on Etsy or Craftsy.

She's also kindly offering the pattern for me to give away to one of you!  Comment below and I'll pick a winner the evening of Tuesday the 17th.

  1. Super cute! I really do love how unique that lace is - never seen anything quite like it before. (don't enter me for the pattern....) :)

  2. So, is it called the Seashore dress or the shoreline dress? It's called both here as well as in the etsy listing...

    1. I'm pretty sure it's the Seashore - she must have forgotten to change the wording in the listing once she settles on a name :p

  3. I like how you used the lace only on the front. That looks great!
