Hmmm, shall I stand pretty like a lady?
Or should I just jump up and down like normal?
"Are we almost finished?"
"Twirling around is so much fun!"
"Point? Okay, I'll point at you. This is fun!" Getting them to focus on something else usually keeps them still enough to get a quick photo in.
"I'm getting cold now."
"Hurrah!"
"Is that the air up there?" No kidding, this is exactly what she was saying when I took this photo.
"Run back and forth? Not a problem, Mommy."
I love this little girl so much. Full of life and mischief. We had a fun photo shoot. Can you tell?
Pattern is Burda 9702, size 2 but the length is size 3. She's pretty tall for her age. As with most Burda Patterns, it fits great and came together very nicely. I like the apron with the dress but not so much on Carolin. She has a funny figure right now (stick legs and a big potbelly) so the apron hangs kind of weird. Besides the fact that she keeps taking it off.
The post is part of Sew and Tell Friday over at amylouwho.
And one more thing. I just want to thank you all for the comments on the quilt I posted last week. It was so much fun to read them all. I couldn't respond to all of them, but I do appreciate them.

ReplyDeleteVery cute dress and stunning model!
ReplyDeleteThe dress and the 'model' are priceless! For my daughter when she was growing up, that was my usual method, take the pattern and add length to fit our standards.
ReplyDeleteLet me share one more thing I did, I would double the skirt width, or cut it across the 45' fabric width 2 times, for a full skirt that really spins!
gotta love our girly girls! :-}
